Overview
About Me
Born Romanian, grew up in Italy, moved to England for who knows how long. Having met different cultures I've learnt to appreciate many aspects of life in a way that to me would have been unthinkable of otherwise.
I am about to graduate and to take the next big step in life. Berlin is likely to be the next city I will live in.
Always looking at the main objective, which is to score big in life. Personal development is a much needed constant from all points of view.
Doubts and uncertainties remind me I'm only human, and there is only so much that can be achieved.
I am going through emotional ups and downs and I quite enjoy it, but it makes me feel a constant need for things to happen. Travelling it's the most rewarding expression of that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Let's face it: everyone finds Couchsurfing convenient. Visiting a place with a local resident is way better, for a long list of reasons, and saving money it's very often a priority.
Personally I find it hugely satisfying to interact with people I don't know. There's always something unusual that comes up and conversations can be more than interesting. Keeping expectations low is my first rule. Not surprisingly, things can easily turn out to be cool.
Interests
Music, because it helps me relax, discharge or cheer up, depending on what I need. Although very often it is the music itself to decide how I feel.
Cooking, because it's just something I find enjoyable. It might actually be all about the eating part. I love good food, generally Italian, but happy to try pretty much any.
Whatever makes me think about the world we live in. Movies, articles, documentaries, music. Or a random conversation in a pub, for example.
Doing little things for being nice to others around me. Random kindness is something magic.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't read many books or watch many movies, but I keep telling myself I should start. I know I'm missing out on a lot of great stuff... But this doesn't mean I don't read at all. The internet is full of great pieces of work to be discovered. I am what I am also because I read what I read.
Music-wise, well, this is complicated! I am going through a period in which I listen to lots of Italian indie music. Living in England it's hard to find live gigs of the artists I follow the most, but I managed to see a few in London.
Other than this I listen to whatever I happen to find on the Internet. It can be dance music, rock'n'roll, punk, classical, anything. Music taste is very personal, just as feelings are. Feelings are changing a lot, and so should change the music we listen to.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
No sky-diving, endless travels or what not. Maybe I don't have the guts for certain things, but having left home to study in another country was the most important step in my life. It implies getting to know new people and places, new points of view, it opened my mind, made me question more things and understand others. It was, and still is, a fundamental part of my growth.
Teach, Learn, Share
Can I even teach anything at all? Mmm.. cooking! Yeah I can show you my skills in the kitchen and share some marvelous dishes I prepare! Yum! :D
I'd like to learn a new language. Like some German, maybe? :) Not my first priority, but learning my fourth language is something I'd like to do at some point.
Oh and I'm at the beginning of learning some guitar. Any tips would be appreciated! :D
