ABOUT ME

I am a doctoral student in economics. I grew up all over but Washington, DC is home. Currently, I am conducting field work in Tanzania, Kenya and South Africa on various quirky topics related to education, health and technology.

If I am not at work, I'm either 1) out running, 2) hunting for a craft beer I haven't yet tried, or 3) reading good authors that use words short enough that I understand.

PHILOSOPHY

i can never decide whether my dreams are the result of my thoughts, or my thoughts the result of my dreams.

also, idealist to the core. and in denial.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am happy to host people with a few day advance notice. Currently, I alternate locations between South Africa, Tanzania, Belgium and Boston.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very inexperienced couch surfer. Don't count on me to cook for you. But I am happy to sample with you places around where you visit - bars, restaurants, sites of interest. I'd be happy to meet new folks from around the world with an interesting story to share.
