ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Roberto from Panamá. You can call me Bob, everybody knows me like that. I'm a cool easy outgoing guy who thinks that knowledge has no limits and experiences in life must be infinite.

I enjoy traveling more than anything else. I like meeting new cultures and absorbing everything good from them. Knowing people from all around the globe is always an amazing experience.

Learning languages is another of my passions because as a famous statement says "learning another language is to get a new soul".

I love my homeland, Panamá. So that's the reason I love people from everywhere to visit it. It's a small country but has huge things to offer. If you would like to have a great experience here, I'll be more than glad to guide you through it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host people whenever it's possible for me. Sometimes it's difficult due to my job (I'm traveling most of the time), but when I can, I really enjoy visits in my house.I also hope to be hosted when I decide to travel for non-working experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've had a very good experience in this site. I've hosted people from different backgrounds, which helps me to see many things in another way.

I was hosted in London by a Couch Surfer I hosted in my city, which saved me a lot of money and made easier my stay there.

I was also hosted in Brazil and Poland by other Couch Surfers.

Traveling, meeting people all around the world, exploring new cultures and learning languages.

Music: Mostly experimental and Rock Music. Pink Floyd, Portishead, Smoke City, Natiruts, Pureza Natural, Cienfue, some Bossa Nova, etc.

Movies: Mainly drama and movie classics. The Godfather I, II and III, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, The Pianist, Goodfellas, Once Upon a Time in America, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, The Shawshank Redemption, Schindler's List, etc.

Books: Mainly sociology and economics books, but also some novels and mythology books . Demian - Herman Hesse, Crime and Punishment - Fyodor Dostoyevsky, The Oresteia - Aeschylus, The Iliad and The Oddysey - Homer, etc.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Everytime I go to sleep and think about the great day I had is one of the greatest feelings I always have. I think it has been great to have the opportunity to discover a little part of the world and a lot of things that it has to offer. I've been in almost all of the American Continent, and some parts of Europe. Before turning 30, I hope to have known all of the 5 continents at least.

Teach: I can teach you how to cook! Specially pasta. I'm a big fan of italian cuisine so I know many pasta and sauces recipes.

Learn: Every learning experience is important. Language, culture, food, scientific information, social behaviors, etc.

Share: Life styles, experiences, food, etc. Not a big fan of politics though.
