About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Attempting to make Vancouver my new permanent home...
ABOUT ME
Down to earth, spontaneous, intuitive, procrastinator, sporty, smart, caring, witty, driven. Working on a new masters program...Basically, a cross between Agent Starling and Agent Scully, with a little bit of Echo thrown in for good measure :D
In the past 3 years, I will have lived in 4 different countries. Generally, I move where I have friends and/or family, but now I'm going to branch out. I love travelling, and I'm always ready to lend a hand to others....as soon as I have a more permanent location!
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life to travel. My goal in life is to live and work around the world. To that end, I try to make lasting connections wherever I go!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am totally interested in hosting people at my place and I encourage others to check out the CS community as well. I haven't heard anything bad about it yet. As soon as I have a spot to call my own, I plan on letting others use my couch (hence the unverified location).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Just through friends...I've only heard good things. Well, at the very worst, people just haven't clicked...I want to give it a shot now that I don't know anybody in Vancouver!
Interests
I'm always up for new things! I love to cook, hike, movie watch, read, walk, participate in all forms of water sports....Learn, listen...drink...travel...I'll come back and keep updating this over time. It's such a huge question!

Music, Movies, and Books
It's easier if I just mention what I don't particularly like, because what I DO like amounts to more than I can write. I'm not a huge fan of rap, although I think MC Solaar in France is great and that Eminem has some good lyrics. I'm always open to somebody proving me wrong. I'm not a huge history buff, or biographies...I find them dull (that goes for most non-fiction), but I encourage you to show me some interesting non-fiction books. As for movies...I'm not a fan of a cheap and easy joke (The Hangover), and am partial to the BBC/British sense of humour. I also love a good story line, even if it's a dumb movie or concept. I TOTALLY am up for watching new movies, and do NOT mind subtitles. I understand that movies do NOT have to come out of Hollywood to be good.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moved to a foreign country, picked up a random sport, won a gold medal. But what was amazing about it, was the huge sense of accomplishment and comradeship with people that I had only known for a short amount of time.
That's the first thing that comes to my mind...and when I think of that, it gives me the strength to do and experience new things, and the courage to help others experience new things.
Teach, Learn, Share
Wow...cool concept. I sneeze at least 7 times in a row. If you want to learn how not to pee or spit food out all over the place while sneezing, I'm your person. I'm sure I actually have more practical skills (dragonboat racing, rowing, painting, drinking)...But I WANT TO LEARN. That's why I move a lot!
