Hello! I'm Jeffrey. I got the travel bug in college, and have had the blessing of meeting people from all over the world! I try to live simply and be a friend to everyone, though I'm not always good at it, I'm ashamed to say. I feel happiest when I can help somebody or make someone smile.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It was autumn 2006. My travel companion and I walked the wet, barren street of the seemingly barren town of Sojczyn B, Poland. The clouds filled the sky, and the simple fulfillment of having walked well over 100 miles over the past 5 clung to me like warmly the rucksack on my back. As I approached what was perhaps the only intersection in the town, I noticed an elderly gentelman standing at the edge of a large puddle, the result of the wet Polish climate. Drawing closer, I watched him gingerly splash his shod toes in the puddle. His hat was blue or green; which color, I do not remember. He looked at us and said "Dzien dobry."
