Now I am in a completely different business. However, I can give you some tips.

1) The best way to enjoy Rome is by giving yourself enough time to feel its vibes.

2) Staying only two days is worthless. As it is no sense going to see the Colosseum on your first day.
Has to be a building up experience.

3) Seeing ruins and sights just for the sake of ticking it on your "things I have seen" list, means do not understand the meaning of history or not caring at all.

I can give you a lot of advises on food and wine if you need.
