ABOUT ME

Hi,

My name is Andrea Bandelow, I am 24 years old and I am from Hamburg, Germany. I study music and social studies to become a teacher and my passion is the piano, which is my first instrument. I also play classical guitar, which is my second one.

Especially after I first started to walk the Camino De Santiago 4 years ago I love travelling, meeting many interesting people from many different cultures and try to exchange knowledge, love, experiences, fun...etc. When i was 17 I have also had the chance to spend 10 months in USA Minnesota in an exchange family which was a very useful and mindchanging adventure as well. For me couchsurfing sounds like a great chance to host and especially show foreigners your own city or at least give them the opportunity to spend the night somewhere while exploring it on their own. I can be a pretty independent visitor but I also love to inspire and get inspired. In my free time I am very intersted in philosophical questions from scientific view as well as deeply spiritual. I would not describe myself as a religious person, I am still searching for my full understanding of a higher meaning, but I am very tolerant and interested in other people`s spirituality. Besides I still love to have fun, go dancing, meet friends, party a little bit...

Many friends of mine have already hosted or gotten hosted, also in my house when we used to live together, I spend a weekend in La Coruna/Spain via a friend`s couchsurfing
