About Me

Hi!

My name's Rebeca, I'm 23 years old and in January 2016, I started a new life in Berlin. Travelling is one of my biggest passions, and this year, I still don´t think I´ve done it enough...
So, my big next plan is spending a week in Copenhagen, hope you can help me out!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Until a few months ago I didn't knew about the existence of Couchsurfing. Then, a couple of friends told me they were in it and told me all about. They received already 7 people at their place since we first talked about it and all of the guests were amazing people and told me to join in. Right now I am the one looking for a couch, hope you can help me!

P.S. Unfortunately, till this date I didn't had a place to myself so I couldn't have guests.

Interests

Film photography, for sure.
I'm an active film photographer, and I spend much of my time developing and printing. I'm also a cook, so don´t worry, I won´t let you starve!
Also, I enjoy meeting people, long conversations and have I mentioned cats?

Music, Movies, and Books

Hmm... Let's talk about what I'm listening, seeing and reading right now or this will be a looong list.
On the last days I went on a Coltrane wave, spending some nights listening to the Blue Train or My Favorite Things.
Yesterday I rewatched Amarcord (from Fellini) for the 1000x, and today I'll probably end watching Metropolis and 8 1/2.
Right now I'm reading Peace is Every Step from Thich Nhat Hanh, while Orwells' 1984 is lying next.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2014 I lived in a poor part of Brazil for 3 months and it was quite life changing. While I was there I worked at a restaurant and in the spare time I took care of this girl that had major difficulties at school and within her family. For sure I came back with a different point of view of what's important and what's not, and I started giving credit to all the things I had in my life that she couldn't have.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want to, I can tell you all about film photography and how to work in a lab! Also, teach you how to do really nice meals while I cook you one. Oh, and ofc, let´s talk movies!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Food, food, food. Movies, long talks, hopefully long walks and a lot of photos!

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, France, Spain, Switzerland
