ABOUT ME

I'm a warm person, especially when sitting in the sun or a hot car. I'm interesting, especially when pulling faces; and I love meeting people from different countries and cultures because everyone has different ways of seeing the world, and that's gotta be a bit entertaining, doesn't it. I like things like comedy, horses, Morris dancing .. haha gawd I don't know. . jokes Dad makes, songs you can sing along to. I hate about me sections. I'm nice!

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others as you wish to be treated. Pretty thorough philosophy I reckon. And the best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couchsurfed in Mexico and it was great. I love how it gives you access to a side of travelling you'd never encounter in a hotel or hostel. I've never been able to host so far, but my friends have hosted a whole bunch of people from all over Europe, Asia, America, and I've loved having a steady flow of interesting people to talk to and share our town in Australia with. It's such a great way to make connections all over the world, lovely people who one day might get the chance to share where they're from as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Wes Anderson films, Sofia Coppola films, Disney films from 1989-1997. Yep, Lion King. I like dark comedies and most sci-fi futuristic 'oh my god that could be our future' movies, like Gattaca. I love the movie Stardust. I like heaps of old music. I love Queen, i like cool, ambient dance music, things that make me feel good. I like stuff you can karaoke to, work to, cry to, and connect with people over. I like Bill Bryson because he doesn't shy away from a tangent.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swam with whale sharks in Mexico, rode the highest flying chairs in Vienna, ate cheese and drank wine watching the Tour de France fly past, watched Canada win olympic ice hockey gold in Calgary. Got lost in Asia, jumped from a plane, twice. Many more to come! Oh it said one.. oops.
