I am a down-to-earth, optimistic and easy-going New Zealander. I'm always thinking positively and spreading my positive attitude to those around me. I grew up on a farm with six siblings, surrounded by paddocks/ bush and lots of cows. I'm definitely a country girl, as I love nature and hiking. I dropped out of university and moved to Canada in April 2019 on a working holiday visa. I am always up for new adventures and experiences! My next big adventure is Italy with my Mother, who is equally spontaneous and free-spirited as me. You will be able to see where I get it from :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm wanting to experience places not only from a traveller perspective but also a local perspective. Wanting to meet people, learn new things and make amazing, unique memories that I wont be sharing with thousands of other tourists. I'm hoping to have wonderful experiences through couch surfing, learning local secrets of the area and make friends along the way.

I've been practicing mindfulness, gratitude and getting out of my comfort zone by pursuing doing things I've always wanted to do but was too scared too (e.g. moving to Canada). I can share my experiences and possibly inspire others to get out of their comfort zone and live a much more positive and adventurous life.
