Hello! I'm Becky, a 23-year old solo traveler who left a career in London to explore the world.

Currently in Asia, I enjoy being in a country/city/town/village long enough to really understand its culture, practices and to spend time with locals. I aim to leave a country feeling like I have seen, heard and sampled the genuine way of life there.

I experienced couch surfing when living in Spain to complete my TEFL and absolutely loved the welcoming nature of hosts, meeting of like-minded individuals and the ability to get a 'local' perspective of a place.

When living somewhere long enough,I play hockey and netball - otherwise my main exercise is wandering round a city or town's streets for hours on end, most likely stopping at popular local eateries. I enjoy reading, try to keep a travel journal, and love to hunt out local coffee shops in every country I visit. Oh, and sampling a refreshing beer after a day of exploring.
