Overview
About Me
I'm a graduate student in mental health counseling and an artist-in-residence at our local hospital. I'm a singer-songwriter and I love to play, write, make music. I'm a lover of the arts and my focus is combining the arts and mental health. I enjoy discussions about the world, the arts and spirituality. I'm an open-minded and considerate individual.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel more and I'm on a budget. There are workshops/conferences/festivals that are relevant to my field that I'd like to attend in other cites. Cutting the cost of accommodations helps me to do more of that. Plus, there's nothing better than getting the scoop on the best places in town from a local.

Music, Movies, and Books
Eclectic interests, especially in music; I love writing and hearing other people's stories and I'm an excellent empathic listener.
Usually I'm reading at least one book on personal growth and I'm interested in topics such as social justice, biographies, interpersonal relationships and amazing ideas on how to make this world a better place.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I performed at a contemporary classical music festival in Italy. I was privileged to debut new music and share with a group of amazingly talented composers and musicians. We stayed for two weeks a small, Italian town. It was a beautiful experience!
