Conservation and creativity are at the heart of what my husband and I live for. We are raising our two children to believe in caring for their world and that it’s ok to live differently!
For nearly three years we were volunteering in Tonga, working in Marine conservation and education around the sustainable use of the oceans resources. It was a tough gig but the perks were morning snorkelling swims and weekend beach trips!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Volunteering in Tonga has reinforced that strangers are fascinating and often become friends. Stepping out of your comfort zone so often introduces good people into your world. We had several couch surfers during our time in Tonga and I hope we get some guests now we are in Melbourne.
Sharing travel with those that call the place home creates an authentic experience with lasting memories of making new friends!
