Overview
About Me
Hello! I am a whimsical 27 year old spirit from Chicago. I feel deeply connected to animals and children, my work experience is primarily centered around teaching and learning from autistic children; I am grateful for any opportunity to cultivate and nurture sensitivity as a form of healing. In addition to music, I studied philosophy and literature as well as a bit of French, Spanish, and Arabic -- I would like to explore and deepen my proficiency in other languages. In my spare time, I enjoy writing music, watercolor, dance, and leaving a trail of paper cranes around my city.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am currently looking to move to the northeast and am looking for different communities to become a part of. I'm planning a trip and would love to find affordable ways to travel and breathe in new scenery with locals. I recently returned from a trip to Morocco where I lived with a friend, whom I met studying languages online, and I had a wonderful experience with him and his family -- I now feel less reserved to try couch surfing and meeting others online.
I am also eager to learn more sustainable ways of living and supporting the earth in a balanced and environmentally conscious way. I hope to learn more about indigenous cultures and their relationship to the earth and surrounding ecosystems as a form of preservation. I look forward to immersing myself in different cultures, languages, and ways of being!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have transcribed music from my dreams. I also tend to befriend mosquitos (which is perhaps a less popular answer but I think equally nice).
Teach, Learn, Share
I am continuously looking to immerse myself in different forms of nonverbal communication (many of which I've learned from my work with autistic children). I am happy to share what I've learned. I am also currently studying archetypal analysis in fairy tales and dream patterning and would love to discuss. I can also help teach musical composition and improvisation as well as tiny origami.
I have recently become more interested in exploring different forms of energy and sound healing as well as water therapy (mostly in my quest for ethical autism supports). I would love to learn about others' experiences with different forms of healing, communication, and reconnection with ourselves.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm happy to help with cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, and any little crafts you may be embarking on be it music, art, or writing.
