About Me

My world revolves around words, people, the sea and the mountains. I can't imagine not being able to write or learn languages! I am doing my Master's in Slavic Studies in the beautiful city of Munich. I grew up near the sea and spent lots of time in / on / by it (swimming, rowing, walking the dog...) Now I spend more time in the mountains (skiing, hiking, swimming...).

My favourite thing about travelling is meeting people from all over the world, sharing experiences and getting to know their cultures.

I love being spontaneous and trying new things. I can't resist a challenge :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Without the people, a place is just a shell. People make it come alive. That's why I'm so excited to be on couchsurfing! I'm still quite new to it but I had 2 fantastic experiences in Brno and in Wroclaw that my friend organised - it was so great that I decided to create my own account :) so now I've also stayed in Edinburgh too!

Sharing stories, sharing food, sharing experiences... that's what makes travelling so precious!

Hopefully soon I will be able to return the favour and host surfers as well :D

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite song is probably 'Ophelia' by The Lumineers
I saw Bastille live in Vienna and they were amazing :D
At the moment I love Imagine Dragons, I love the energy!!!
For a different style: Rammstein. They are so so clever with words.

The book that had the biggest emotional impact on me was 'Charlotte Gray' by Sebastian Faulks. He writes beautifully. His book 'Birdsong' is also very powerful.

Films: 'Les Intouchables', 'Das Leben der Anderen', 'Kolja'

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
