Last year I became a caregiver for my mom, who is experiencing paraplegia because cancer metastasized to her vertebrae and damaged her spinal cord. Caring for her has expanded my awareness and my compassion in many ways.

One of the favorite times of my life was traveling through Europe as a college student and meeting people from all over the world. I enjoy meeting new friends and the diversity they add to our lives.
