I'm from Manchester, England and I love to travel (obviously). I want to make the world a better place somehow... and to do that, I need to understand the world better. I used to think that travelling was about places but lately I've realised, it's all about people. That's why I joined couch surfing!

CURRENT GOALS: see as much of the world as I can, meet as many people as I can, eat as much food as I can, learn as many languages as I can (regretfully I'm only fluent in English).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sometimes I travel solo so it's good to be able to connect with other travellers.
I like to hear about a place from the local people.
Honestly, I'm looking for inspiration and understanding

Mainly I want to learn from others, maybe listen to their travelling stories or their life stories and share some of mine in return.
I'm not interested in talking about the weather or where you got your nails done - I want to know what motivates you to wake up in the morning. What's on your bucket list? What are your goals? Your dreams? I want to talk about the big questions in life - these are the things that interest me!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love rock music, been to a couple of festivals - hope to attend more. Best live show - The Darkness. Also love musicals, especially if I can see them live. Best musical - Wicked on Broadway.

Movies: literally almost anything if it has a good story. I own a huge Disney and Ghibli collection. Favourite movies - Thumbelina, Amelie, The Breakfast club and Whisper of the heart.

Books: I try to read as much as I can. Favourites: Harry Potter, The day of the Triffids, Nineteen Eighty Four, The Geography of Bliss and Shantaram.
