About Me

I am French. I grew up in Orleans, a city in north-central France, about 130km southwest of Paris.
FYI - Orleans is famous for Joan of Arc, 'the maid of Orleans' (in 1428, she lifted the city from the siege of the English during the Hundred Years' War). Also, when France colonized America, the city New Orleans, Louisiana was named in honour of Louis XV's regent, the duke of Orleans.

I worked for 5 years in Paris as a consultant in Information systems. But I needed a time out and live for myself for a while. So I decided to drop everything and travel the world on my own!!!

I have travelled all Central America for 6 months and 11 months through South America. Best time of my life! Would do it again with no hesitation.
I have spent 1 year in Sydney and sadly had to leave because of the visa situation... I still wanted to stick around so I decided to go to New Caledonia. Have been back to Europe since 2 years and been working seasons to still be able to travel around.
At the moment I have no limit, except money... So here I am, just going with the flow, experiencing total freedom :)

I am generally curious of anything and eager to discover new things, other cultures and meet people from all over the world.

PHILOSOPHY
Don't dream your life, Live your dreams
You only live once

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So far I have almost zero experience in couchsurfing but I wanna escape some time to time the turmoils of the hostels while travelling. And I guess it's a good way to experience the culture and meet awesome people wherever I go! :)

Interests

I love travelling... Maybe this is why I ended up starting this trip because I realized I didn't have enough time/holidays to discover the world while having a job...

I play golf and I looooove it... for more than half my life now :) I am handicap 7 and I played the nationals (3rd division) for 3 years. I couldn't take my clubs with me but I am sure I will hit the ball some day ;)

Last year I went to the Philippines and became a DiveMaster. Everywhere I go now I try to dive as much as possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My skydive in Dubai!
I was supposed to do it with a friend but the weather conditions were terrible the day we booked our dive. Anyway, I chose to give it a 2nd shot a few days later but alone (my friend couldn't come). So I went to the place and I didn't even wait 30min that they had a spot for me!!! Then everything was set into motion and it was a-ma-zing/breathtaking!!!! I skydived over the Palm Jumeirah in t-shirt and breeches... Lots of adrenaline that day...
I will definitely try again if i have the opportunity!!!
