About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To do AT LEAST half the things I dream of doing. To make sure I do everything I can to enjoy a situation. To fall in love with as much as I can (people, places, food, buildings, artwork, music, anything!).

ABOUT ME

I hate waking up in the morning because I have so many dreams when I am asleep, but on the other hand once I am awake (and have had a cup of coffee) I am that person that has lots of energy and is ready to be busy and enjoy life. I love getting to know people over cups and cups of coffee or beer, I think everyone has something unique to offer to the world and relationships. I read a lot, but unfortunately I don't read "smart people books" like biographies, histories, or non-fiction, I read 'brain-candy' books about vampires and werewolves and fallen angels and shape-shifters, and don't forget any sort of post-apocalyptic , Utopia/dis-Utopia. Just meet me :) and we will find a way to laugh together and enjoy our time.

PHILOSOPHY

Be nice to people, even if they aren't nice to you because you've got no idea what is happening in their lives right now. I never have road-rage because I figure the person who is cutting me off is on the way to the hospital to be with their wife/sister who is having a baby. Enjoy everyone. Don't regret passing up opportunities by never passing up (healthy/fun) opportunities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My mind was blown when I met two friends going to Istanbul, I was planning on staying in a Hostel and they were planning to couchsurf the whole way. I just couldn't help but think, wow, they are going to come away from Istanbul with such a different experience than I am. I want that. I'm going to do that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Istanbul. The food, the mosques, the apple tea, the modern art museum, oh my! Istanbul was amazing.

Arches National Park in Moab, Utah. My best friend and I set up our tent in the dark and when we came out in the morning it was like a whole new world, red rock all around. It was the most beautiful place I have ever been.
