About Me

ABOUT ME

I can probably describe myself as someone who smiles a lot, good humoured, I like to do discover new activities and places. And well.. if you want to know more, let's meet up!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I could give you some advice on places to visit in the area, maybe do some visiting together.
We can practice our language skills, I speak English and french and I'm trying to learn Spanish.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met some really fun people while travelling in Thailand thanks to couchsurfing. I haven't actually tried surfing couches but we met up and had a great night out in Bangkok.

Interests

I like creative activities (painting, decorating, making jewellery). I love to swim down the river in Geneva or in the lake Neuchatel, to go off on my bike with friends to discover new places, listening to concerts in parks, dancing, (I mainly dance salsa but would like to learn new dances such as flamenco, tango, rock contemporary,...)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like latin music, eletro-swing, funk, reggae, hip-hop, rock, ..

Films I liked: jeux d'enfant, Amélie poulain, L'auberge espagnole, my blueberry nights, Frida, The motorcycle diaries, Volver..

Books I like: 11 minutes, a thousand splendid suns, Les cerfs-volants de Kaboul, Shangai Baby, a short history of trucks in Ukrainia, and many more I can't think of right now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Madagascar, I spent a couple of weeks helping out in a rehabilitation center, one day, with 2 friends, we took a box of pencils along with some paper and suggested to do drawings with the kids. Along came, almost all the patients of the center, with their children, we spent hours drawing and laughing with them, children, adults, grand-parents, men and woman. It was a moment simple and joyful, with many exchanges even though we couldn't speek the same language.

The Naga ball festival up in South-east Thailand.

Teach, Learn, Share

You can practice speeking english or french with me while telling me about your country or your travells though at Though at the moment I'm travelling in Colombia and Ecuador to learn and practice Spanish so I have to admit I'd rather be speeking the local language.
