Hi! I'm an undergrad student at McGill University and currently finishing my last year. I was born in Seoul, Korea but grew up in Toronto, Canada. Since graduating high school, I have lived and worked in Korea, China, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and Southern California. When I graduate, the plan is to move to Shanghai, China and work on a startup there.

I'm a very upbeat and curious person that is energized by new experiences. I'm driven by the pursuit of exploring and experiencing different approaches to life through new friendships and new environments. The things I value the most in my life are self-love, open-mindedness, being present, kindness, positivity, compassion, and sharing. I'm usually pretty good at talking about a diverse range of topics and I'm intrigued by pretty much everything. I'm also down for pretty much anything all the time.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

To me, the world is far too big and far too beautiful to not couch surf! I am really excited by the prospect of meeting people who have opened their homes to strangers and I hope to return the favour when I am in a position to do so.

I'd like to see what people's daily routines are like in different corners of the globe and I think couchsurfing is a great way to do that. I would also love to meet new people because you can never have too many friends.

Intereses

I believe travelling is my most dominant interest but I also really like working with children and I've always taught/tutored to some capacity throughout my life. I also love a good night out and can dance all night. I love hiking, especially in the mountains. I've also really enjoyed my jobs working in bars and restaurants because I like being on my feet and I've met so many interesting people. It has also given me such a deep appreciation for the work of others, especially in customer service and hospitality industries. I love to read but haven't have much time to do any recreational reading these last few years. I also spend a lot of time on reddit and wikipedia.

As much as I love to be active, I also looove lounging and kicking back. A good portion of my day is spent leisurely hanging out with my friends of myself.

Música, películas y libros

I like most genres of music. Recently I've been listening to a lot of reggaeton, Latin pop, and country. The music that I love to dance to the most is definitely hip hop and occasionally deep house.

I don't know if I have a singular favourite movie but some that come to mind include "Still Alice", "Spirited Away", "Django Unchained", and "She's the Man".

I'll have to get back to you on my favourite books once I go through the mountain of books I've been meaning to get to!
