About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore, to experience, to grow, to create

ABOUT ME

Hmmm I am cheerful and friendly, an outgoing introvert, I enjoy meeting people and the company of others but also enjoy alone time. I am empathetic, emotional, but rarely moody. I have a good yet quirky sense of humour and enjoy being silly. I like to look at the world through the eyes of a child, everything new and waiting to be experienced, its exciting! I am a good listener, caring and fiercely independant, I don't like being bossed around or told what to do, so possibly a little stubborn at times :)

PHILOSOPHY

Live life to the fullest, be all that you can be and never lose sight of who you are.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently just a surfer enjoying the amazing hospitality I have received from hosts so far which has reknewed my faith in humanity. I hope to be a host someday when I get my own place and return the favour.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only started surfing on my trip to Europe this year, I absolutely love it. Even though things dont always go to plan 99% of the time people have been wonderful, I have never witnessed such generosity and humanity from strangers in my life. What a great way to unite the world and its people.

Interests

I am an emerging artist. Trying to make a career out of selling my artwork and hopefully lecturing some day as well. Aside from that I love to cook, see and be inspired by other artists, travelling is also a passion of mine. I love wide open spaces and seeing nature at its finest! I also love exploring new cities and witnessing different lifestyles, different architecture. Writing is a secret love and I hope to write a book someday. I spend alot of my time, creating, self expressing and watching the world. I love to dance!

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything by the director Jeunet i.e. Amelie, Mic Macs and A very long engagement. Old Alfred Hitchcock movies, also Roman Holiday. Cult movies like Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Empire Records. Books, too many books to mention really!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. When I walked the Macchu Picchu trail and arrived at the site at 6am on the fourth day. The city was in a valley far below hidden by fog. As the sun rose, the fog melted away to gradually reveal sections of the city, it was magical, so beautiful.

2. When my sister and I drove the Great Ocean Road, in Victoria Australia. Pretty much every moment was filled with awe, the landscape on that road is indescribably beautiful! Stunning blue ocean, dramatic cliffs and rock formations, imposing ancient forrests and waterfalls.

3. Most recently Hot air ballooning at sunrise in Capadoccia Turkey. Incredible!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to cook if you don't know how... I will probably just end up cooking for you though, I do love to cook! I can teach you some drawing skills...maybe if you are an artist we can discuss techniques and learn from eachother. I love learning new languages so teach me some of yours. I can teach you basic Salsa. I can teach you how to swim (I was born a fish)
