Why I’m on Couchsurfing
surfed, hosted, meet up with people in a variety of cities
love going to couchsurfing group events in my home city of New York and when traveling
I live in Bushwick , Brooklyn, so I would be most helpful showing you around north Brooklyn (Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Bushwick) or lower Manhattan.
Also, if you don't want to meet up but just want advice on bars or restaurants, I'd be happy to provide it.
traveling, meeting new people, exploring
cooking and eating - especially new and interesting foods that are well made
concert festivals, community events
Music, Movies, and Books
the velvet underground and nico is my favorite album. I also listen to a lot of Bob Dylan, Barenaked Ladies, jazz, Neutral Milk Hotel, the New Pornographers - a random mix, I know.
books - everything by tom robbins, especially jitterbug perfume and still life with woodpecker; things fall apart by tim o´brien; lolita by vladimir nabokov; breakfast of champions by kurt vonnegut; the Harry Potter series and too many more to think of right now
