About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To help students create themselves and see the world!

ABOUT ME

I currently reside in my home town area of the SF Bay Area. I am teaching as a Special Education teacher in Oakland, CA and am almost done completing my Masters in Education! I graduated from my undergrad inMay 2013, and went overseas to teach English in Cartagena, Spain for a yer (this is when I opened my couchsurfing account!). I have traveled since a young age. My mother is from Thailand, so we have been traveling there every year or two since I was a baby. I have an endless list of things to see in the world, and along the adventures I have and will meet amazing people! I´m very easy going, but also like to work, so I can save up money, and travel! I´m responsible, friendly, out going, but also can enjoy a quiet night at home. I love showing people around the towns I live in, I always discover something new :)

PHILOSOPHY

Sometimes you have to get out of balance to get into balance.
Eat dessert first! (Because you never know what could happen).
As the Spanish say ¨tranquilo¨.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couch surf, and when I can, offer my couch to others. I also enjoy just showing you around the area!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed at two different couch surfing locations, with other friends which was booked through their accounts. Both times were a great experience and a great (and affordable) way to meet new people around the world while exploring.

Interests

Although I enjoy quiet time to relax and recharge, I do like to be on the go whether it is going to the gym, the beach, my classroom, dance lessons, hikes, or you know, traveling the world :)

It's like I tell my middle schoolers "Treat others how you want to be treated".
