About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To have interesting and exciting experiences and meet new people. Find out more about a variety of cultures.

ABOUT ME

I am very open minded, very open hearted, and a good listener. I grew up in sunny San Diego and went to school in Boston, besides studying in Granada, Spain for my junior yeat. I have a very mixed cultural family- armenian, cuban, mexican, jewish, etc... I love it. I've spent the last few months having immersive, educational experiences teaching English to international students (adults) and doing an internship working with youth and peacebuilding.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't currently host but I would be happy to meet up and show people around San Diego. I'm wanting to travel for a bit and just see the world.

Interests

I love fruit. I love spanish. I love being out in nature- yoga, taking hikes, etc and love to play cello. I love to be with family and spend time with friends. And I absolutely love working with children. It brings me so much happiness and I learn so much from them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Three of my favorite movies are Cinema Paradiso, Shawshank Redemption. and Pan's Labyrinth. I listen to a wide variety of music, but some of my favorites are: Norah Jones, Break of Reality, Dan Nichols, Jacquline Du Pre, and John Legend.
I really like Grapes of Wrath, and a Spanish book called Pedro Paramo.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've travelled on my own for a month in Spain, celebrating New Year's in Madrid with a wonderful Couchsurfing friend and working for a hostel up in San Sebastian for two weeks, meeting amazing people from all over the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I brought a few recipes from home with me on my travels, and a ukulele I'm happy to play/share with others! I really enjoy just chatting and learning about each other's backgrounds.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Armenia, Austria, France, Israel, Scotland
