ABOUT ME
I am a rather regular 24-year-old girl hailing from the Pacific Northwest (Seattle and Portland). I am a graduate student of English at BYU in Provo, UT. There are 7 kids in my family (yes, I am LDS) of which I am the middle child. I adore my nieces and nephews more than anyone in the world!
PHILOSOPHY
The gimmick is, and always has been, overrated; that's part of what makes it gimmicky. But authenticity--ah! Authenticity, even in the seemingly inconsequential, is everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have taken art and French classes in Paris, ridden an elephant, sung at the halftime show of a Trailblazer's game, been published in a magazine and a literary journal, wrote scripts for a university podcast, worked in a museum of taxidermied animals, gotten stuck in an elevator with 40 people for 15 minutes, and nannied in Hawaii for children named London and Britain. But I think the most epic thing I have done was last weekend when I made a blanket fort with three of my friends and slept in it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a bit about literature :). I can recommend books and teach you how to write. I can also bake delicious desserts that will make you beg for the recipe (brownies, sugar cookies, lemon bars). I can also answer questions about my faith, which many people have a curious interest in.
