About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Seeing as much of the world as I can! Experiencing things I never thought I would experience, or didn't know were even out there to be experienced

ABOUT ME

I am 23, easy going, and looking to spend some time exploring the world this year. I am heading to Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana (US) in August so I decided to quit my job and set off on some adventures around the world. I am trying to get my wanderlust under control before then!

I hope to spend about 1-2 months traveling through Europe this spring and meeting people and getting to know different places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couch surfed before! I know a few people who have spent long amounts of time in Europe couchsurfing and I have not heard a singly negative thing about it. I am more than excited to try it out myself while I explore the world!

Interests

Music, history/culture and learning about how places developed, ANIMALS, meeting people and making new friends, social justice - I am heading to law school to study criminal justice in hopes of working on the American criminal justice system some day!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a HUGE music fan and appreciate listening to just about anything (especially if it is live). In particular, I like alternative or indie rock and electronic music. I grew up on classic rock and motown though so my taste is pretty far reaching. TV On the Radio, M83, Disclosure, Michael Jackson, Daft Punk, Stevie Wonder are among my favorites

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Feb 2014 I spent a few weeks volunteering at an Elephant Sanctuary in northern Thailand called Elephant Nature Park. The sanctuary rescues elephants from domestic labor around southeast Asia and gives them a free and safe home, devoid of abuse, for the rest of their lives to be happy, healthy and free. it was AMAZING to get to spend so much time around elephants doing what they do best, which is just being their cute not so little rambunctious selves.

Countries I’ve Visited

Botswana, Thailand, Zambia, Zimbabwe

Countries I’ve Lived In

South Africa
