I love being a tour guide for couchsurfers visiting the bay area!

Interests

I love the simple things in life. nature walks, home cooked meals and spontaneous roadtrips even if it's just a zipcar to the market. I can usually be found at the nearest library on my laptop or browsing the stacks. I love watching movies with friends

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once spent five days on a greyhound bus from NJ to CA and loved it and want to do it again!

In 2001 I marched in the colour guard in the Raiders Drum and Bugle Corp. We won the silver medal that year( second place in the world by a tenth of a point) and I received the Raiders colour guard Rookie Of the Year award.

When I was a kid my aunt and grandmother used to take me on a summer long roadtrips every year up and down the east coast stopping at museums and sites of historical battles. I was dubbed the official trip navigator and was given a map with the route already marked off and helped give directions along the way. I think that is what gave me the travel bug. I always had fun and at the end of the summer we would make memory books of that trip with pictures and ticket stubs and national park stamps and they would have me write stories about the places I loved the most.
