About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To spend some time getting to know my own country.
ABOUT ME
I'm a recent college grad, free time artist, and aspiring farmer. I've been travelling for the past year or so, spending the majority of my time in the beautiful hills of West Virginia. I started out my travels in 2013 hoping to learn a bit about food production, and fell in love with the farming/homesteading lifestyle. Being originally from Seattle, this was quite a change for me! I don't quite know where my pursuit of farming will take me, but for now I'm still roaming and learning as much as I can.
I'm pretty easygoing, and enjoy laid back, quirky and passionate people. I believe we have a lot to learn from and teach each other, and love that CS shares that mentality. Travel really is about the people, after all.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted some great folks back home in Seattle, and am just getting into the surfing side of the community.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been impressed by the kindness and openness of all surfers I've met thus far. Whether they were travelers who stayed with me, fellow backpackers or hosts, I love swapping stories with other individuals on their own journeys.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Folk, hip hop, alternative, bluegrass, indie... and, mostly, live music of all kinds.
Books: Invisible Cities, The Country Under My Skin, The Alchemist, Daytripper, Harry Potter...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Snorkeling with sea turtles in Hawaii; tide pooling in Nicaragua; reaching the summit of just about any hike in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Spanish, sewing, how to make bread and tend a garden, how to cut your own hair... all sorts of good knowledge I've collected along the way.
I would love to learn more about sustainability, woodworking, other languages, or pretty much anything you are passionate about!
