Overview
About Me
I live in Plymouth, Devon. That is 3.5 to 4.5hrs by train from London, or 5 to 7hrs by Coach. Please refer to home section for more detailed information.
I work in civil engineering and I am passionate about international development, specifically water sanitation and hygiene WASH and disaster relief.
I enjoy exploring new countries and cultures and getting to know local people and having my perspective challenged and engaging in diverse and interesting conversations and stories.
For Potential Couchsurfers:
My mum is only comfortable to host females or previous couchsurfers I've stayed with/met up with. I am now able to host during the week and weekends.
[Any couchsurfers I've stayed with or met up with in person are welcome to come to our home.] Can host from February 2025 onwards.
We have 1 spare room and a sofa-bed, and we look forward to meeting you. We would always prefer to have a brief video call beforehand so we can show you the space, make sure you would be comfortable here as well as give my mum a chance to meet you.
Things you should know:
I have a large dog.
I enjoy socialising, but due to my health conditions, sometimes I run out of energy and need to rest early.
I don't eat meat or dairy, but my mum does.
I haven't had a chance to host recently as I have been working away during the week. Now I'm working more locally. I look forward to hosting people again soon.
