About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Fly above the couds forever

ABOUT ME

I moved to Daytona almost 4 years ago and am always ready to meet some new friends. I had a roommate for a while, but I moved back into a place of my own and I am ready to host again!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is just time enough to make good friends and to love those close to you. I find my faith to be a foundation to build my life upon. I enjoy people coming to visit me - one reason I picked a small TWO bedroom apartment for family and friends to spend some enjoyable time at the beach. Come on over - I'm always up for a game of Scrabble, UNO, Risk, or a movie!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to host! As I travel, I always throw my doors wide open.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was with Barbara Welker in Orlando. My sister and I had a great time and Barbara was a wonderful host. I have been a huge fan of couchsurfing ever since! Busiest time as a host was for the Daytona Beach 500 - 7 guests in my apartment.

Interests

Oooo. So much to list. Movies: The Truman Show, Lord of the Rings, Groundhog Day, 50 First Dates.
Music: practically everything. I can't memorize lyrics or titles, but I do listen to music a lot. Currently going through a eurotrance phase.
Books: Jane Eyre, Watership Down, Design Patterns, ....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled in all manner of styles:
Hiked part of the appalachian trail, saw the Grand Canyon, went canoing in Canada, rode a Greyhound bus across the US, rode an Amtrak train across the US, drove across the US, and flew across the US. :-) I am missing walking and bicking, but they are on my list.
