About Me

ABOUT ME

They named me Jeanette, most friends call me "Jen," but more often than not I hear my name as "Mommy." I am a married Stay At Home Mother, and I love it. Its hard, its exhausting and often I get NO hours "off" the job, so when I do...its often to keep working on the house, sleeping, and dating my husband.

Personally:
I love to learn and to listen. I'm always trying new things every chance I get. I can be the most curious person and I tend to venture into that which sparks my interest. I believe that you are the only person that can make you happy (and happiness is a momentary feeling or a feeling that can flee with moments). Thus, it never hurts to help lighten someones day with a smile. "There are times to cultivate and create, when you nurture your world and give birth to new ideas and ventures. There are times of flourishing and abundance, when life feels in full bloom, energized and expanding."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have decided to travel the world. I hope to see many places, meet many friends, eat and drink many new things, see many forms of art, learn new customs, languages, styles and listen to some new music. I am studying to becom an Architect so I hope to be able to use my traveling experience to its best potential, I can only imagine the beauty of architecture around the world. I like house parties, clubs, and bars. I love beaches, mountains, waterfalls and all forms of nature it is truely my biggest form of inspiration. I have never been camping in my life but I would love to and I dont mind dirt. I am not a big complainer about anything...so invite me along on a adventure and I'll bring my smile!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch surfing I was invited to a college party and I got to really enjoy myself there after meeting the host. He was so outgoing and fun, after I crashed his roommates awoke and made us breakfast and we got a good list of places to go. Later that evening a new friend from the party met up with us at the beach. It was overall delightful! Following, I have been blessed with many more pleasant places and even more delightful new friends and I look forward to being more involved.

Interests

I don't get much time to self indulge in many of my various interests, but I am extremely involved with my two small children. They are the hardest "job" I could imagine anyone taking but more rewarding than any career choice I would have dreamed of. Beyond taking care of my family; I love semi-sweet wine and mostly ale beers along with sushi and most ALL seafood. I love trying new food and most often I am a foodie and can eat more than my household together in one sitting. I horseback ride, design many things like: ceramics, drawing, furniture, and sooo much more. I like to go shooting but I don't hunt live animals just targets and skeet. I have done a few bike stunts on sport bikes, and have traveled many hours on a motorcycle. I enjoy biking when I am alone but I rather walk or hike with company. There aren't many places to "hike" but the little bits in Michigan, but I am up for a new challenge. I am terrible at boarding but good at skiing. I don't mind hard work or being lazy but I rather a constant motion of experiences. I absolutely love RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS. I love to smile. Its my mark on society.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving, Meeting the Red Hot Chili Peppers at a book signing, burning the sole of my shoes on Kilauea, the volcano in Hawaii. Birthing TWO children for over 24 hours. Loving others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a couch and loveseat. We are also trying to finish our basement for more space. Its always nice to have a full bathroom too and you're welcome to use it!
