Overview
About Me
I'm just another English teacher abroad. I like to read (poems especially) and I like to scribble down little ones of my own. I also like playing music. Right now, I'm trying to pick up the violin. (I don't think I'll be bringing it with me on my trips). I'm a poor boy a long way from home looking to make connections.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Staying with a local is 100x better than staying in a hotel. I'm quiet, clean, easy-going. I have stories to tell. I can fall asleep in nearly any position or at any temperature. The hotels don't deserve me. Mostly, I'm a poor boy a long way from home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've endeavored to road trip across the U.S., from coast to coast, through forests and deserts and savannas, across three mountain ranges, and to almost every city
worth visiting in the lower 48. "This Land Is Your Land" and all that jazz.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm an English teacher. "I know words. I have the best words."
I'm a decent cook as well. (Salt and pepper are underrated!)
And, I'll play chess with you if you like.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have stories I can tell. I'll write you a poem. I'll cook you breakfast. I'll let you win at games. I'll paint your bathroom. If you share your home with me, I'll do my best to return the favor.
