ABOUT ME

Just finished 11 months abroad - 7 working in Sydney and living on the beautiful northern beaches, then travelled Thailand for 2 months, and got back to Aus to do the west coast Darwin to Perth. Glad to be back HOME in Canada, love travelling but its great to be back in familiar territory. Seeing maple leafs everywhere, hearing my fellow canadian accents, having a big greasy breakfast with the finest maple syrup, drinking the delicious water, and seeing all my friends are what I'm enjoying at the moment. Living at home now in a new city, I'm looking to make some friends and share some stories of the "glory days" on the road :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've slept in tents, on the beach, in swags, on dry creekbeds, on mountains, in bungalo's in the jungle, all sorts of places. First time I'm trying Couchsurfing, but I've met people along the way who do it and recommended it to me.

Interessen

Adventures, hiking, climbing mountains, chess, anything off-road: running biking etc, boxing, yoga, Hockey of course ! I just like being active, doing something instead of nothing. I don't really watch TV unless its a hockey game :)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I really enjoyed my recent trip to Kalberri Nat'l park in WA. it was a quiet little town on the mouth of a river that flowed into the indian ocean. did an 8km loop hike out near "nature's window"... none of the others wanted to do it so I hitched a ride with some people going absailing. They were only going to be gone 3 hours, so I had to be back by then. I was doing 18min/km and got back just as they pulled into the parking lot! it was great and I'm glad I got to do it, and I'm super pumped that I made it back in time to get a ride out of the gorge !
