I had an incredible experience staying with hosts both on and off CS during a 6 month journey last year. I've been attempting to learn French for the past few months and would love an opportunity to practice with anyone on this trip! We can work on your English in exchange :) This current European/African odyssey will be my last international one for a while so I will be switching my focus to hosting in Sydney in 2019!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the best parts of travel is meeting new people. They often give meaning to your journey and stay with you longer than any memory of what you saw. Sure, you can often get this in a hostel, but it's much less of a guarantee and CS allows you a window into how someone else lives their life. This is the true reward and where the real lessons can be learnt.

Getting a local experience can completely shift your perception and enjoyment of a place and forge a deeper friendship than the often transient world of hostels. So I guess I'm here to build an international network of like-minded people, and I look forward to hosting in my hometown and offering a glimpse into my lifestyle and the culture that I value from my own country.
