About Me
Hello, I'm Reece. I've been living in India for the past year and a half and teaching at a small boarding school. My time here in India is almost finished, and I'm going to begin traveling slowly around Europe before returning to the USA. I'm really excited to be turning 30 soon, and for the old friends and new friends I'm going to be with in Berlin.
I used to live in Berlin in 2006, during an exchange program with the Freie Universitaet. I really love the city, and this will be my first time back since then. I'm a clean and friendly guest, I can cook and do dishes, read bedtime stories out loud (or not...), and I can also be quite chill (as in reading, writing, making art time).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've couch surfed before (though it was on a different account which I shared with my girlfriend some years ago) with super results, both in hosting and being hosted.
I'm on couch surfing because I really value meeting new people and getting to know new sides of the city and the lives that people lead. I am also on couchsurfing because I have been earning my salary in Indian Rupees for over a year, which is SO little compared to the euro or the dollar.
Unfortunately, my best friend in Berlin recently got married, and is having some relationship trouble, so he cannot host me right now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I wrote and directed a play in 2013 which was a super intense experience. There was a live band, songs incorporated in the play, and a great group of actors. Right now I am directed A Midsummer Night's Dream with a group of high school students at the school where I work.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a teacher by profession, which really means that I like learning things and that I am sensitive to what people need.
What I Can Share with Hosts
One thing I've learning while living in India is to share everything. I would give you the last of my water if you needed it.
Countries I’ve Visited
