Jamie and I currently live in Seward Alaska. In the past, I have worked summer jobs at Denali National Park and Kenai Fjords National Park. I enjoy road trips, outdoor activities and boardgames.

I enjoy hosting and staying with people. I have met really great people doing both ends. While traveling, couch surfing hosts are great resources for learning about their towns and the culture of the region.

Kayaking around the Salton Sea in south-east California. It took us a week, we camped on the beach at night and paddled and sailed our kayak around the coastline during the day. I couldn't believe how many birds were there. I especially was amazed by all of the pelicans.

I hiked the Arizona trail in 2017.

I hiked the north half of the CDT in 2018.

Jamie and I hike 200 miles (1/2) of the Oregon coast trail.

I particularly love the sea/ocean. The salt water feels so alive to me, with so many animals of all sizes. I am a sailor and kayaker and love to explore coastlines. In Resurrection Bay, we have seen seals, sea lions, whales, porpoise, eagles, bears, mountain goats and otters all from our kayak!
