COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had the best experience when I was in America (summer of 2011) I had just arrived to New York and I had about 3 hours until my flight to Portland, Maine and I still had no place to sleep because the guy who I was supposed to stay had not contacted me yet so I wrote 3 letters to the couchsurfers few hours before I got to Portland and hoped for the best. A women wrote me back saying she has a sick dog but if I really cannot find anybody she will come and pick me up. And I didn't find anybody else so I called her from the plain just when it was about to take off around 9pm and she was so so nice and picked me up from the airport an hour later. Amazing kindness! She was super sweet and even showed me around the city the next day. I was ready to sleep in the airport.. after travelling for about 48 hours :)

Favorite movies are The Godfather, Pulp Fiction, Snatch. I enjoy all kinds of music depends on the mood, but mostly alternative, I also listen to oldschool and underground hip-hop and rap.
Favorite authors are Iris Murdoch, Remarque, Haruki Murakami.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Travelling is the most amazing thing I have ever done, the things you can see, the people you can meet and the experiences you can have are just amazing. I always try to live my life the way that the next thing I am about to do will benefit me in some ways. I try not to repeat anything or go back to the old ways, letting myself experience something new every day makes me understand and see how much more awsome things there are to see and try.

I absolutely love people who have been travelling because I think their stories are always interesting and you can always learn a lot from them. But if a person is open minded and willing to share his thoughts and beliefs I am very fascinated to hear other point of views and perspectives.
