Resumen
Sobre mí
My name is Reese and I am from the United States. I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, living there most of my life until I joined the military. I've resided in various cities around the U.S. like Washington, DC, Miami Florida, Palm Springs California, Fort Lauderdale Florida, several cities in South Carolina and others. After years of working in corporate America and fighting for time to travel in between work, I became an entrepreneur in 2005 with the main purpose of being able to free up my time, so that I could travel whenever I desired. Being my own boss and working for home has allowed me to have some of the most amazing experiences all around the world.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I've been a travel fanatic since I was a child. My motivation to see the world began when my parents began taking my brother and me on vacation as young boys. As I grew into adulthood I began to do more international travel and simply fell in love with the world, its people and the various cultures. I quickly grew tired of regular resort and hotel type vacations and began doing extended stays in local homes, condos, villas, etc. I wanted to feel the culture and meet knew people. I have coined many of my experiences as my "Off the Grid" experiences, since they differ so much from what most people do on vacation. Couchsurfing seems like a super cool way to enhance my thirst for genuine, local experiences even more! THE WORLD IS OUR CLASSROOM!!

Algo increíble que he hecho
While visiting Antigua, Guatemala I explored inside of an active volcano (Not active at the time of course). This was an amazing experience. It had just erupted the year prior, so the lava and walls inside were still quite warm.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I moved to the Dominican Republic 3 years ago after many, many visits. At this point, I feel that I've really immersed myself in the local culture, which still fascinates me daily. I've learned so much from such genuinely good, humble locals. Should I be fortunate enough to get visitors, I'd love to share the local experiences with my guests.
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
I have tons of experiences world-wide and I've found that good old face-to-face conversations about such experiences can be very enriching and rewarding. I'd thoroughly enjoy sharing things from my experiences, as well as learning things from my hosts.
