Hi there! My name is Refiana, I am half Pinoy (Philippines) and half Indonesian. I was raised in a very diverse family with different cultures from Javanese to American culture.

I am working in one of the biggest online travel agents in Indonesia, which I am responsible as a partnership representative for international market.

So for me, meeting new people from different backgrounds everyday always makes me inspired, and I can’t wait to know more about you! <3

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

My bestfriend informed me about Couchsurfing as I told him about how happy I am in making new friends overseas and I want to do more traveling.

In 2018, I did my first solo trip to Bali, I met some new friends there from who came from different countries. Unexpectedly, those - who I thought were - strangers changed my life. In just 2 days of being with them I learned a lot about love, freedom and living a better live.

From that moment, I started to believe that by meeting new people, not only I will expand my perspective about life and makes me more grateful but also to remind me how amazing our universe is <3

I am interested in people, the culture, the environment.
Ah and I love FOOOOOD so much, I always try new restaurant almost every week!

I regularly do yoga, meditation and workout 3 times in a week. I eat healthy but not picky - very adaptable ;)

Mindfulness and self-love have been a big part in my life, and I hope to learn more about this.

I am passionate in art and dance too, actually I graduated as a designer and I worked as a dancer for 3 years. I love drawing moments so I would not forget the picture.

I just started a new business in fashion earlier this year, and currently learning on how to run a good business :)

So for movies: Thriller & Crime, especially for those with a plot twist. i.e. Memento, Ocean’s Twelve, Parasite. For series: Money Heist, How to Get Away with Murder, Black Mirror, Breaking Bad. Oh! and of course, F.R.I.E.N.D.S is an exception - best comedy ever.

For books, I am really interested in psychology books.

I can teach you some traditional dances from Indonesia such as Saman Dance from Aceh (the dance of a thousand hands) or Javanese Dance.
