About Me
Hello dear stranger, nice to meet you!
I'm a student, living in Budapest interested in many things. I'm about o finish my masters in Leadership and Management specializing in Human Resource and Organizational Development (yes it's a mouthful, sounds fancy, not that of a big deal actually), I should be writing my thesis instead of this great introduction, help. I used to be part of AIESEC student organization for two years, and I also did volunteering and activism here and there (Amnesty International, Ludwig Contemporary Museum, etc.). Now besides surviving uni I work at a social enterprise, where we focus on bringing mental health to all, using yoga, mindfulness and all that jazz, I love love love what I'm doing.
My interests are pretty broad: social issues, binging commentary youtube, (analogue) photography, graphic design, plants, cats, music and going to concerts (well that's a little less possible nowadays, but it's getting better), poetry, (contemporary art) museums, (vegan) cooking, volunteering, activism, (hobby) philosophy, overthinking, wandering around the city, yoga, thrift shopping, being 'green', etc..
I have zero tolerance for sexism, homophobia, transphobia, racism, etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm challenging myself by meeting new people, as I can be sometimes shy (let's be real, it's anxiety), but I swear I'm pretty cool, I just need some time with new people. After sitting home for so long, I feel like I need to get out there again.
I truly love Budapest and I would like to share this with people! I believe I could get to know amazing, interesting people through these experiences, which is always nice. On the other hand, I also would like to travel and meet locals on the way, to learn about their cultures firsthand.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is a huge part of my life, constantly listening to tunes, going to concerts whenever I have the chance. I listen to a lot of Hungarian bands, but have broadaned my horizont in the last year and have been listenin to a lot of indie from all over the worls. Always open to sharing music, looking for great new tunes. Here are some playlists for you (bc sharing is caring):
– many (but not all) songs i love and give me the feels: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6zJ1HxaaRi8O8lD9SBThDF?si=aa0591b81fb046ea
– if you need a good cry (it's so much better with appropriate music): https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2E09NV3zCJ8hZBGTudpzHu?si=7b8525effa6a4646
With movies I'm terrible, forget them almost instantly, but I like dramas and sometimes 'lame' comedy movies. Series are more my thing: Adventure Time, The Office, Brooklyn 99, The Good Place, Parks and Rec, etc..
And books, well, I try to read more, but nowadays it's mostly (Hungarian) poetry. Open to book recommendations
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed Trolltunga, without knowing in advance how big it will be. It was mentally and physically very challenging, but I did it and I'm very proud of that!
Teach, Learn, Share
Above you could read my interests, so anything connected to that I would love to share, talk about, try to teach (even tho, I don't think I'm an expert on any of those, but sharing is caring). Additionally to those, the Hungarian language is a weird one, but I can still try to teach you some!
I know some great (and also cheap) places around Budapest too!
What I Can Share with Hosts

Of course, if there's anything I can help with, I would love to do so and we can cook something together too!
