ABOUT ME

Probably my friends would describe me as a easy going, very active, loud, outgoing, spontaneious and crazy person who is always full of energy and willing to start something... I love to get around, meet new people and experience new things and adventures. With me you always experience unusual stuff. Most times in the good way ;) I´m also kind of direkt and speak my mind freely. Still I´m most of the time thoughtfull and nice, a good one to talk to about whatever bothers you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing-experiences I made in 2009 on my trip through southamerica. Travelling with my best friend for 5 month through Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. I really liked it to get to know places guided by some locals. Ever since I have been couchsurfing in Europe in different places. In summer of 2010 I spent 3 weeks couchsurfing through the Netherlands. A great experience. I met many interesting and open-minded people, had a fantastic time. In Regensburg, where I studied, I had a very small apartment where I couldn´t host anyone. But still met some nice people, showed them around town (since I´m a tour guide there), had some beers etc. After a year abroad, in Chile, where I met some nice Couchsurfers, too, I´m back in Regensburg, now living in a bigger flat which I share with 3 people.

Interests

travelling of course, other cultures, languages and food, cooking, most kinds of sports (especially yoga, running, biking, hiking), good books, many kinds of music (listening and singing), theater (acting and directing), fotography, dancing, partying, wine, enjoying nature, adventures and everything that´s fun!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Things that impressed me... Wow, that´s a hard one! I guess, there have been many many important or fantastic moments in my life... Such as...

Traveling with my best friend trough southamerica (Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile) after my Abitur. I never felt that free, independent and carefree before or after again. Living from day to day, not planing anything but still getting everything the way I wanted it. It was a fantastic time! Ever since I haven´t stopped travelling and experiencing similar things. A few year ago I spent a year in Chile, studying and travelling through Chile, Argentina and 3 month through Colombia. This year I came back to Colombia and travelled trough Panamá... You see, I´m addicted! To southamerica and travelling..

Being part of a musical production at our university.. the people I got to know in that theater group (which wasn´t my first, but definitely the most harmonic!) were just amazing! We share such a great time full of sparkling moments, full of dancing, singing and drinking gin tonic... It took me quiet a while to get back to normal live after that time! Theatre in general is very important to me. I even directed a play at our University and we could have a guest appearance in Prague!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Since I was a tourguide in Regensburg I can share a lot of information (for those who are interested).
Besides I´m very into the cultural life in my city, so I always know what´s going on when it comes to theatre, concerts,...
Also I know the best bars in town. When it comes to hosting me.. well I'm a good cook, a good one to talk to in many languages (German English Spanish and Italian) and always interested in learning new things!
