I have just retired and have decided to travel in south-east Asia for 3 months. I want to visit Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and cambodgia.
After 25 years as real estate agent I would like to do something I already did when I was 18 years old, when I travelled backpack through Nepal and India. So I would like to start a new adventure the same way in order to discover new countries.
I lived for 9 years in Cotonou, Benin, and did a lot of travel in Europe, and also in Asia, Africa and America. I am interested in meeting people and discover countries by talking and sharing with people.
Of course I want to discover the main cultural spots of the countries I am going to visit.
I have 4 children, who are adults now and don't need me anymore, which makes this new adventure possible for me.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because of course it makes travelling less expensive, but it is not the main reason. I really want to meet people from the country and share there lives. I would be very happy to do some cooking for my hosts and tell them about Belgium and my travel experiences. I am very much looking forward to these contacts.
