ABOUT ME

Born in Cuba and having lived most of my life on the island, I have a special attachment to the sea, the warm climate, and the care-free lifestyle. I am a very curious person and eager to learn about just anything. I'm talkative but also practice active listening. It's in my nature! I am open minded. I love good cooking so I am fond of the French cuisine; however, any good food from any country... bring to me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although I don't have yet any experience with this incredible place, I already sent a referral to one my friends who loves to travel. I also talk about it with my friends, even if they do not intend to use the site because I believe in the wonderful nature of the project.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is the first time I do couchsurfing... (f I do not take into consideration the countless friends that have slept at my house since I was a child).

Interests

Traveling is my passion! Photography is one my hobbies (I even make my own calendars every year with pictures of me, family, and friends). I'm not an exercise person but I extremely enjoy playing a particular sport with my friends, exploring the countryside, doing camping, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like "films d'auteur" but what I enjoy the most is a good comedy. Laughter gives us well-being and a sense of instant happiness! I also like almost all kinds of music, except for rap and heavy metal. I prefer classical literature (Proust and Flaubert are among my favorite).
