ABOUT ME

I have such an existential crisis when this happens. I'm Regina. I like climbing, hiking, and a good cup of coffee. Like all couchsurfers, I love exploring, getting lost, meeting people, and finding my way to whichever place I'm calling home at that particular time. I'm a Biology person; whenever I'm out I like to learn as much as I can about the birds and plants in the area. Foraging is a pretty strong hobby of mine. I love to travel, but my Chinese is very poor (it's a work in progress).

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hiking and climbing in the Mojave and Sonoran Desert for one month in the winter. It was an awesome experience with some great people; beautiful and inspiring.

I can teach English, piano, how to bake bread, how to oil paint, how to shuck an oyster, an amazing amount of riddles, how to make a pizza over a whisperlite stove in the desert, how to retile a room, a few interesting North American plants and birds, how to make bacteria fluoresce green, and how to make a butterfly knot.
I would like to learn Mandarin, Morse code, robotics, CSS, the best way to start a fire from damp logs, how to swim, how to cook Indian and Thai food, learn more about plants and birds in Taiwan and Thailand, how to scuba dive...(I think I'll stop there)
