Overview
About Me
Greetings! My name is Rei, and I am a university student from Tokyo, Japan. Currently, I am working on my graduation thesis on biometrics, a field that fascinates me with its scientific precision. However, my passion for learning extends far beyond my academic major. I am genuinely curious about a vast array of subjects, including languages, cultures, religions, technology, and business. I thrive on discovering new things and broadening my horizons.
My interest in American culture has grown over the years, particularly through my love for NBA basketball and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I find great joy in watching these games and movies, as they provide a window into a world that is both exciting and different from my own.
One of the most profound experiences in my life was spending my high school years in the United States. This period was transformative, as it allowed me to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. These interactions offered me valuable insights into different ways of living and enriched my understanding of the world. Engaging in conversations and sharing stories with people from various walks of life has become a cherished activity for me, as it not only broadens my perspective but also helps me reflect on my own aspirations and dreams.
I am a humble individual who embraces challenges, always eager to push myself to new heights. Traveling and exploring different parts of the world is a dream I hold dear, as I believe it will help me discover my true passion in life.
Thank you for considering welcoming me !
I am excited about the possibility of sharing experiences and creating lasting memories together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Whenever I have obtained chances to travel foreign countries, what drives me most excited is the moment interacting with local people.
So, it doesn’t satisfy my desire for adventure if I only participate in activities that typical tourists do.
I discovered that Couchsurfing offers the chance to meet people who truly know their area and to learn about local cultures more deeply than on an ordinary trip.
For this reason, I humbly ask if you would share your experiences and hometown with me, even if it’s just for a few days.
