About Me

I am a 20 year old half Japanese half Australian International Business and Law student.
Although I was born in Japan, I moved to Aus when I was just 4, so my Japanese ability is limited to colloquial speak. I am hoping to become more fluent!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am planning to spend November 2015 until March 2016 (my summer holidays) in Japan travelling, working, and meeting new friends.

I will probably just rent a house in Tokyo during my stay, but would love to meet likeminded people until I find suitable accommodation.

Interests

Reading/learning, travel, FOOD, adventuring/exploring, trying new things, architecture and interior design, the outdoors and being active (e.g hiking, waterfall canyoning etc), Bikram yoga

My favourite thing to do is to chat over great food and wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a wide variety of music, movies and books.

The best movie I saw recently is City of God.
Right now I am reading 'Man's Search For Meaning' by Viktor E. Frankl

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In April 2015 I went to Indonesia, and spent a few days climbing Mount Rinjani on Lombok Island.
It was the most difficult experience I have ever gone through. The hike was over 2 days, but I was in terrible pain for weeks after it. I recommend amateur climbers to start with something easier!!
