I am a Swede living in Norway for the moment working as a nurse. I have spent my life travelling and opening my home to travelers and organizing events, festivals and getting people together from all over the world. I spent my childhood on the country side in the north of Sweden but always had an eye towards the world and had pen pals from all over to practice my english. My mother saved up money and sent me to Los Angeles in the late 60s and from then I have kept on traveling. Traveling on ships through South America and hitchiked and always lived with people. Basically living the couch surfing life long before it was invented.

After living in Sri Lanka for some time I moved back to Sweden. I finally settled in the north of Sweden again with my family of three kids on a horse farm where I ran an Icelandic horse riding business for 15 years. The family also lived in American Samoa for two years. In later years I have been involved with Malian music and organized festivals with traditional Malian music in Sweden and in Mali. After some years of that I decided to move to Mali and I packed up my entire life and drove from Sweden to Mali, where I lived for three years. Now I am back, currently working here in Norway and excited for what the future holds.
