I’m from Germany and have been living in beautiful Penang (Georgetown) since early 2024, working here as an expatriate. I’ll likely be staying for the next 3–4 years and am excited to explore everything this amazing place has to offer.

Before coming here, I spent four wonderful years in Mexico and three years in southern Italy—so you could say I have a passion for experiencing different cultures and cuisines!

My two grown kids, 19 and 21, are back in Germany, pursuing their own paths while I embark on this new adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m living in Penang on my own, as my family has stayed back in Germany. A little change of pace is always nice, and I love sharing my growing knowledge of Penang with others.

I’m fortunate to call a beautiful place home—seaview, a pool, and a gym included! My guest room is almost always available, so why not share the experience?
