Hi, i'm Reinhard and 25 years old. Last year i finished my Bachelor (of science of forestry) and for 6 months i worked to get some money and learned Irish in the evenings (in self study) to go some time to Ireland afterwards.

In a few days i will travel to the Emerald Isle and stay at a host family for a couple of month (3 to 6), depending on how much i can earn by going working.

In school i wasn't very fascinated by languages at all. But after 5 years of Latin and several years later, i have to admit my opionion changed radically in this time. Because approximately 60 percent of the loanwords i heard i could extract the meaning of. That upcoming thought mixed with a soft spot for irish music was the birth of leading myself to a new language.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because i most likely will be limited to the vicinity of my host family, i want to meet some nice people and strengthen intercultural relationships. If it would be in another town/county it would be very nice to see them too.

Until now I'm not yet ready for guests because of my lacking home.

Interests
